Help name our 2023-24 Team Dog! You've submitted some great names through social media, but now it's time to vote on your favorite.
The Buffalo Sabres have once again partnered with WNY Heroes and their Pawsitive for Heroes program to help train a service dog for a local veteran throughout the season. The Sabres welcomed their first team dog, Rick, who was named after Sabres Hall-of-Fame play-by-play announcer Rick Jeanneret following a fan vote, during the 2021-22 campaign. Last season, the team dog, Nikki, was donated to WNY Heroes by the Warden family and named after fallen soldier Nick Warden.
