I've been a Caps fan since the 1988-89 season when I was two years old. It's a common joke to claim that hockey and the Caps are my life. When I'm shooting video and taking pictures during pregame warmups, I'm also helping kids get pucks from the players. I've helped a few kids so far this season during pregame warmups.

I have watched the caps since I was 5 years old. I would stand outside the US AIR ARENA and wait for the caps to come out and get autographs. My entire basement is Capitals – a bar made to look like a Zamboni, a Jumbotron, the walls are painted like fans, I even have OVIs street shoes he wore to games a few seasons back, I have tons of pucks and some game used sticks. The best part, the floor in the main room is shaped like a rink and the floor is epoxied to look like ice, complete with caps logo, redlines, blue lines, and even the stars on the redline at center ice.

Since I’m one of only 36 original season ticket members still around, and I’m still Rocking the Red with my kids AND grandkids, I think I easily qualify for 4th Star. And now my wife and I live in Ballston overlooking the Caps practice facility!

I was on the glass in Vegas celebrating the Stanley cup win, am a season ticket holder and have recruited all my family, friends, and everyone I know to support the caps (even while living in LA for 10 years).

My son screams “Chicken nuggets!” at the TV and that’s when I realized cross the threshold from fan to Caps fanatic. I learned about MedStar Capitals IcePlex and have been collecting signatures with my son.  We bleed red in this house!

I’m the biggest Caps fan, and my mom, Barbara, is the ultimate fan at 92 years old. Together, we are a dynamic duo! We are season ticket holders and stay after every home game to cheer on the players, coaches, staff, and other Caps fans as they leave the game. We also watch away games and listen to the Caps radio when the games aren’t broadcast by Monumental Sports Network.
